The board is a group of volunteers that is elected during our monthly HYFCA board meetings.

Meet the Team

The board is made up of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

Other roles are Cheer, Field, and Equipment Coordinators, Coaching, and Team Moms.

Steve Rejniak, President
Steve has been a member of HYFCA since 2013, actively involved in both football and cheer. He plans to work to ensure the league provides a positive experience for all athletes. He also is a committed coach for both football and wrestling. His goal is to teach fundamentals while making sure the athletes have fun.

Corey Girard, Vice President 
Corey has been a member of HYFCA since 2022. A passionate coach, he leads young athletes in football, wrestling, and baseball. His focus has been on skill development and fostering a love for the game. Outside the league he is the Assistant Chief at the Strausstown Fire Company.

Shelby Scheffler, Treasurer
Shelby is the treasurer and a dedicated football mom. As a team mom she has always been there to support the players, coaches, and families. ensuring everyone has a great experience. her commitment and enthusiasm makes her an invaluable part of the board.

Meg

Megan Long, Secretary
Megan has been a dedicated member of HYFCA since her eldest daughter joined the cheer program in 2019. She has coached youth cheer for the last four seasons, including three as the head coach of the Mighty Mite squad. Passionate about mentoring young athletes, Megan is excited to bring her experience and dedication to the board to help support and grow the program.
